Which model is right?
Commission split
Good for new artists and busy studios that bring the clients. The studio earns more when the artist earns more.
Booth rent
Good for established artists with their own clients. The studio has a fixed income; the artist keeps everything above the rent.
Hybrid
A lower rent and a smaller split – a fixed base for the studio, a fair share for the artist.
